St. Louis County - Tax Relief is Still Available for Homeowners Displaced by the July Floods

REMINDER: Tax relief is still available for homeowners displaced by the July floods. 

Under Missouri law, if a residential property is uninhabitable for 30 days or more due to a natural disaster, the Assessor’s Office can pro-rate the 2022 property value for the time the occupant is displaced. To qualify for residential property tax relief, homeowners should keep copies of repair estimates, FEMA/SEMA documents, and other materials related to property damage.
